Counselling for Adults
Our CRASAC counselling service offers a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to all genders 18 years and older who have experienced any form of rape, sexual abuse or sexual violence at any time in their lives.
For Children and Young People
We offer a counselling service for 5-18 year olds (all genders) in a specially equipped therapy suite with specialist female counsellors. Counselling can include talking, play and creative arts and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprogramming).
Parent Support
Dealing with the impact and aftermath of a disclosure that your child has been sexually abused, can be devastating. If you are the parent or carer of a child or young person who has been sexually abused, you don’t need to deal with this alone, CRASAC is here to support you.
Crisis Counselling
We also provide short term crisis counselling to some adult females who have attended a SARC.
Pre-trial Therapy
CRASAC offers pre-trial therapy to those deemed vulnerable and in need and unable to defer their counselling until after their court process is finished.
CRASAC is an Accredited Organisational Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and it abides by the BACP Ethical Framework. Further Information can be found here.
